I’m a decent long jumper. My farthest jump is 4.82 m. I have one problem with my technique. When i get to the board i don’t really push off the board. What can i do to help improve this? I do pop up drills and box drills. Please don’t say ask your coach. The main long jump coach is on vacation and i don’t want to bother him.

Ok so my mom was like amazing at high jump and got a scholar ship and everything and I want to be good too. I am only in jr. High and my coach doesn’t high jump so I kinda have to just learn on my own. I can clear the bar I just have problems with the arching the back part and I was wondering if there is any drills you can do to help with that? Also how many steps are you supposed to take??

I am 5 11 with a standing reach of 7 8 and I wanted to dunk a basketball. That is like my new year’s resolution now. I can jump a little more than 20 inches. How can I increase it to 36 inches. I wanted to know if there was a program where you could talk to a real-life breathing coach. And also how long with that take.

I’m a 14 year old guy, 6’1, and 155 lbs. I have a pretty low vertical (only about 24 inches). I have used multiple exercises, and yet i can only barely touch the rim. There are guys shorter than me already dunking! And everytime at bball practice we do layup drills and my coach always yells "DUNK IT!" and one day at practice i want to just throw it down. Please help! I think my biggest problem is that I dont stay commited.

In school, we had this jump test where there was a velcro strip with measured out inches on it, and 2 velcro balls. We first had to place one ball up as high as we can with out jumping. Next we had to jump and high as we could with jumping. My PE coach said that the difference between my jumping and standing measurements was 20 inches. Is that alot? Is that how high I jump? & how can I increase my vertical jump?
