I’m 13 years old and I want to play football next year in high school. I am a very small kid for my age. My main question is what’s the best way to get faster, and jump higher? Also is there any trick to get more muscle (abs and arms) besides just lifting weights and crunches? Thanks.
And when I say that I’m small, I am an 8th grade guy who’s 4′ 10”. lol yeah I know that’s small. thanks for the answers!

Im 6’2 13 years old and 136 pounds. ive only touched the rim once and been looking everywhere to find a program or excercises to increase my vertical but they are allll FAKEE.. PLEASE telll me a good program or exercises that you know actually work… THANK YOU GUYS SOOOOO MUCH IN ADVANCE

I am 13 years old, 5’8" and 138 pounds… my vertical is 20.0 inches..?
Is that average, below-average or above-average. I’m of russian/ukranian ethnicity by the way (I don’t know if that matters.) I’ve played basketball for a year.

(By the way, I measured by standing up next to a wall with my hand straight up put a piece of tape there then jumped straight up with knees very slightly bent and tapped a piece of new tape where I jumped highest.) This measurement could be approximate, I could probably jump higher if the wall wasn’t there/on court.

So im 13 years old and 6’1, but i have a very low vertical. I can barely touch the rim. Any help? I really want to dunk. I know calf raises are good but anything else? thanks
