How further would you be able to jump if you got a pair of long jump shoes? I currenetly can jump about 18 feet in running spikes, will I gain a lot of distance if i get long jump shoes? Thanks.

hello.
Im not a very good jumper, i cant even touch the net. what are some things I can do to learn to jump higher?
Thanks so much and may god bless you all! ^_^

I’m 12 years old, and 5’2”. I can currently touch an 8.5 ft. rim. I have lately been working on touching a 9 foot rim, but I lack about seven to eight inches. What is a serious workout to make my vertical jump higher and more efficient? Please if you could name the possibilities in order of best workouts to the decent workouts. Please if the workout is something you think I might not have heard of, then describe what exactly I must do to accomplish the exercise. (And include how many reps if the workout includes reps.) I have been drinking 2 glasses of milk every day to improve my growth of muscles, and bones to get taller and stronger. I also try to eat proteins and fruits/veggies. If you have any other suggestions on improving please tell. Thanks for listening!
Don’t worry when I say ‘serious workout’ I don’t mean I’m going to strain my muscles until my arteries explode so sorry for the misunderstanding. I know when my muscles need a break. And actually yes you can be born with it, but it can be exercised too just so you know.

I want to toch the rim in 8 months but I cant, I am 14 years old, 5’8 and 130 punds… I can touch 1 inch on the board… I want to jump about 12 more inches in 8 months so that when I turn 15 i will be able to touch the rim or even dunk, but I dont really think it’s possible… my classmate about my height but heavier cant jump so high and can almost touch the rim. I want to jump higher, there are some exercises I do like 100 jumping jacks a day, 100 crunches and 2 plyometrics exercieses (10 times each) that I found in the internet, can you suggest something that can help me jump higher??? like add more excercises… btw i cant do jogging cuz i go to school and i have no where to run… thanks for those who will help
