A young male about 5’3" that used to be able to smack back board and on his way to bigger things, played ball for North Central High School but jis dream was put to rest after getting in a bad car accident. Does anyone think he could get back to where he was?

I love basketball and I want to make my legs to move around the floor more faster and quicker. I also want to jump higher for layups and fadeaways. Just simply running didn’t work for me, plz tell me what kind of other excercises I can do to effectively boost my legs
