I’m a 6 foot tall, 155 pound, 8th grader, and I play SF/PF. I can touch the rim, but that’s not good enough for me, I want to be able to get higher. My ultimate goal is to dunk by my junior year. What kind of workout do i need to do to be able to fly higher?

Ok, i am 5’8” and i play middle hitter.. i can jump… kinda… my whole hand is over our high school nets. i have alot of power and i know that if i can just increase my vertical by another hand or so over the net.. i could really rock! and thats what i want!

i already weight lift tuesdays and thurdsaday morning and i jump everynight doing my approach trying to jump higher.

any advice or jumping programs so i can jump higher!!?
please and thank you (=

GO VOLLEYBALL!!
*middles rock* (=

my height is 5’4" and im already 19 yrs old. i used to play volleyball in my high school. at that time, if i jump to reach a basketball ring, my tip of my hand is almost and inch away to the ring. now i want to play again and i want to jump higher.

Is there still a chance for me to jump high again even though i stopped playing for almost 3 yrs?

And can i be able to dunk a basketball?

I know it won’t but im asking this to settle an argument, my friend said that adding rubber bands to his shoes will help him jump higher because the "elasticity" will transfer to the shoe and give you better vertical, i know that doesnt make much sense but he thinks it does, but im telling him that it won’t ’cause that isnt how rubber bands work and it isnt how the process by which energy transfers works, help me out here would you?

ok so i am 5’3 1/2 in 117.6 pounds yea i know im on the chubby side lol anyways i want to increase my vertical jump for football and basketball. idk what i jump now but anybody got any exercises something lol.

any help would be greatly appreciated

thanks i advance
